The little connector pipe on the front of rear brake pedals?

It’s a safety wire to keep the lever from bending outwards in ruts.

Ahh cool. I had thought it might be a pressure sensor to see how hard the riders use it. Thanks that's still a cool idea

When riding in the woods it also prevents twigs and branches from getting wedged between the lever and the cases and locking up the brake.

The wire ones are called a brake snake. Don't go into the woods without one.

It stops the rider from being a pussy and using the rear brake. Keeps it locked out bruh

It's like a Jake brake for semi-trucks...relieves the powerband so you can slow down. You'd be dead without it brother.
