It is completely ridiculous. First they eliminate the semi's in order to put more commercials. Now they eliminated the heat races as well. They don't give a fuck about the viewers. All they care about is making more money on commercials.

I guess that I don't get it. People are too bored with the longer races but they are going to stick around through 20 minutes of commercials and fluff?????????

I was excited for this new format. But I think maybe they should have started with LCQs as part of the night and reduced the down time between races.

I was tuning in regardless as a fan. Imagine the poor bastard that just happend to be channel surfing and stop in after the 450 main. 20 min of minimal content.

Need to add in the 85 2 stroke class or a 250 amateur class in between the motos to give more racing TV time. I like the 3 main race format, but hate all the dead air commercial time.

This track layout completely blows - way too easy and one lined. It's not racing, it's follow the leader.

This track gives new meaning to "startercross".

Swing and a miss if it has to be over a 3 hour slot.

I look forward to the East coast rounds- so I can record the race and zoom through 2 hrs of ads.

I love this sport, and I am finding this incredibly boring to watch, so the 'casual fan' that they always talk about has no chance. Imagine turning on to a new sport and seeing an hours worth of nothing but commercials before you see any action

There were just as many commercials previously. As well as meaningless racing to go with it for the first 2 hours. This is way better

I suppose their reason for so many ad's (besides the revenue) is the riders have to recoup since all of them are on the track at the same time where as before with heats and semis that was not the case and they could move along with the gate drops.
Face it the sport makes no money the commercials pay for the air time so there will always be more and more ad's...Feld is in the business of producing entertainment for profit not a first class racing series.

I'm wondering what happens when AI enhanced humans enter SX in a few years Ray Kurzweil says we are 12 years away. Should be interesting as the bikes will have AI by then as well i assume and electric to boot.

This format is great, keep it.

TV ratings will cause this dumb Idea to go away. 30 minutes of commercials is way to much.
