I heard a rumor that Barcia was talking to Red Bull KTM.. No idea if it was legit or not.
Dear God I hope not.... I can't see a man as wise as Decoster considering Barcia. But, I could be way off......just hope I'm not.

If it's Musquin and Tickle, would they make it a two man team? If not, who would the new third guy be?

Outdoors he is solid. Indoors he will be 15-20 in the big bike class

I would like to see KTM roll the dice and give Barcia crack.

People tend to forget that riders finishing from 5-20 in the 450 class have done exactly(sometimes even better) the same things as these 250 riders. They are almost all 250 champions or like Plessinger top 3 in 250 a few years ago.

I actually expected more from both Prado and Forkner. The two wonderkids on both sides of the ponds. Prado has one race win but other than that he has been just as "mediocre" as Forkner. But they are both extremely young.
Expected more from Forkner for sure. Some moto wins and overalls at least

Same here. Idk why they would sign tickle. I get that hes consistent and whatnot, but IMO Barcia still has the talent to get podiums and maybe just maybe sneak in a win or something. Like you said roll the dice and sign him to a 1 year deal. Ktm will get more out of that then they dod with Canard this year.

Martins?

You really think that Alex Martin could be a 450 winner? Jeremy could outdoors but certainly not indoors(except Daytona).

Yet another example of overrating 250 riders and underrating the current 450 5-15 riders that have done exactly the same results as a guy like Jeremy Martin in the 250 class.

Most of the midpack riders in the 450 class are former 250 SX or MX champions. Go look at the main event starting line up from A1. Most of those riders are former champions in 125s or 250 4 stroke.

And Jeremy Martin is clearly not the same guy as in 2014 and 2015.

That is asinine, but okay Bob. Guess we'll see next season...

Realistically would anything be different for Barcia on a steel frame? Would he benefit from possibly a 350?

I'd like to see it too personally...

Motofinne, I'm not sure you really grasp what "mid-pack" actually means? Again, please let us all know who finishes 20-40 outdoors and 10-20 indoors (mid-pack) that has done what J-Mart has? Hell, the top 5 450 guys haven't, so I think your bias is clouding facts here? Wilson hasn't won much since his championship season, same with Baggett year prior. What makes you think J-mart can't be top five on big bikes if these guys are. Jeremy has won every year he's been pro other than 13'. He also got 2nd in his first ever SX at Daytona. Do a lot of midpack 450 guys or former 250 champs do that? Webb, Bogle, Weimer, Tickle, Mookie, actually please name 1 for me because other than RC, I cannot.

Mid pack is 10 -20,and with everyone who is in Canada, doing SX only , or waiting for an ECU on the sidelines, id say that was more 8-16 now... after that its privateers and locals.. who are regular Joe's not full time Pro's.

Only Roczen, RV and Dungey have taken 250 form to 450 , the rest are just regional winners, I don't see how JMart will kill it in SX on a 450, when he cant on a 250.

Guy is great outdoors, for sure, but SX form is patchy at best .
