Guys....I need to find something that I wear under my jersey , but doesn't make me look like a football player. Any thing you guys can think of that may fit the bill here? I need something before this next season. Tired of getting pelted!

Alpinestars A-1. Extremely lightweight, breaths well, thin/extremely tight fitting and it will protect you from roost and rocks. Hands down the best that i have ever had, i got mine for the 2017 season.

I wear a Troy lee designs UPV 3900HW protector under my seven and thor prime fit jersey. If you put a baselayer under it you won't even notice it. I really like it. There are also versions with short sleeves or long sleeves if you prefer that

unfortunately Jeff, my body fat already makes me look like a football player... I would look like a Hockey Goalie with anything else on! TongueTongueTongueTongue

I use this:

I wear one like this but I want to say mine is 661. Goes on like a shirt, all soft padding and in the front only. It's really only for Roost protection but it does its job very well.

It fits very slim under the Jersey

Yeah I think they had an exact same one. I saw that RC wore something like this and I wanted to give it a try so I bought one. Works great

I use the Alpinestars A-1 and like it a lot. I also have a Thor one similar to what JAFO posted but I like having some of the hard plastic the A-1 has since it adds a little more protection. There is a removable back piece to the A-1 that I removed because it ride's up and turns me into a hunchback with it on.

I use this. Hard plastic front and rear. It’s longer then most under protectors too.

Oh dang.....there are definitely some in here I'm interested in! I was looking for just chest protection only. I like the full upper body ones....but those 105 degree days may kill me. Thank you guys! Never seen a couple of these.

I wear mine over the jersey. Mookie wore his over the jersey when he raced outdoors for TLD.

+1 for this one. I wear a Leatt brace so I am still getting use to the added layer. but so far Im happy with it. Older I get, the more roost hurts. Good thread, and good ideas. Cheers.

I have an a-1 as well. Love it. Can run it with or without the back. Had it for 2+ seasons and have had no issues. Buckles are designed such that they won't jam and break on impactlike the thor sentinal, or eli's pants, can.

The new Fox one is awesome. It has this very flexible gel thing for the back protection and is very c9mfortable.

The alpinestar A1 is very light as well. Lighter but less comfortable than the new Fox protector. I’m yet to see if the gel thing on the new Fox is hot or not since its cold as shit here in Chicagoland

This, I have the A-10 but would have bought the A-1 if it was approved for racing in Sweden.

Jeff - are you wanting only protection from roost, or are you looking for something that will also protect your ribs/chest/back in a crash?

This Protector is the best, can be worn over or under, I wear it under and it's not very noticable.
