I’m tired of dealing with pre-printed backgrounds and getting them placed oh-just-right with no bubbles and crap. I just want some plain 3 digit numbers printed up I can slap on. I don’t need pinstripes and logos and my name...but I don’t want the old school single digits that end up crooked and spaced weird either lol.

Who has done this? Any graphics companies I can order these via email or online?

I have a cheap vinyl cutter and make my own numbers sized and shaped for our plates, and vehicle lettering for my trucking company.
They are thin and don't hold up well to crashes, but I'm so slow that I almost never crash. I don't push it.

Your best bet is the thicker single numbers. Tape them up before you stick them on. Use a "tape hinge". YouTube " vinyl lettering tape hinge" , it's a pretty simple process.

They're called die cut numbers. I know split co designs does them. I would assume any graphics companies could do them.

order the plain simple backgrounds and cut the numbers out all together and slap those on... that’s how the pro mechanics do it!

I specialize in this kind of stuff.
Added you on IG and will hit you up when it’s time for another set. I have a set I can cut for now.

Check out ERA. They are doing “Works” numbers that are just that.

Full number plates would be like this:

Just get the numbers printed by your local sign guy, and don't get them split up.. get him to back them up , so you can fit them just like he would doing it as a pro.. spacing is right

You will spend $21 to $42 on three pack single numbers. Better to order plain no frills backgrounds and cut out numbers or get some like the pro numbers above.

If you agree to run their logos you can get backgrounds from RMATV for $27 and then cut out the numbers

Literally anyone with a cricut can make them for you. Paying more than $20 for it would be insane.
