Cool to see him bounce up and down on that race bike like a kid in a candy store. Don't know him, but "a man's man" he seems to be. Wishing him the best.

Love his spirit and big grin. Clean new race bikes do that to racers.

Hahaaaaa seeing him lose it when he got on it was awesome. I bet he asked a hundred questions about how it was built.

Gorgeous bike! Much respect for Tom. Met him briefly at the YROC race at Glen Helen in 2002 and again at the Fox 77 Team reunion in 2013. I also was stupid enough to pass on the opportunity to visit his museum for a Bikes and Burgers night because I didn't feel right about taking off work....Blush Yeah, call me stupid.

Wishing him well!

I always wondered what happened to his brother. I think I remember an old ad from the 80s where both of them are holding pipes side by side. Maybe Tblazier knows what I'm talking about and can post...(?)

Back in the day I sent White Brothers the shock off my '78 YZ250. They revalved it and sent it back along with fork springs and instructions to modify the oil flow in the forks. Called and talked to one of the brothers to make sure I was doing the fork mod correct and they were very helpful over the phone (I lived in IL). Their suspension totally transformed that bike but it still wasn't as good as the stock suspension that was on the new 1980 YZ250 I bought a year later. I practically had to give that '78 YZ away as the bikes suspension/handling were advancing so fast back in those days that even a 1 year old model was practically made obsolete for motocross.

Those Indians ran a clean sweep last night at the Black Hills Grand National. Rad looking bikes and man did they sound good down the front stretch.

Dan semi-retired and moved to Colorado around 1999. He was really into mountain bikes in the late 90's. We were in the same race category and had some good battles in Big Bear back then. Haven't heard about him in years.

I met the White Bros in 1978 when I bought a Luft shock from them for my yz80. They gave me some sort of racers discount. That was the first time I put a sticker on my bike where I felt like I was representing someone that actually sponsored me. Tom is a humble man who has left a bigger mark in motocross than a lot of champions! If I left 1/1000000 of the mark on motocross that Tom White has, I would be a happy man....and it would probably go to my head and make me an arrogant asshole....Not Tom; his passion for MX and compassion for his MX brethren is matched by very few!
