Will this mean the motorcycles will again be used as a pawn? This has the potential to upset the industry far more than the European motorcycle tax threat. Doom On.

So they are taxing imports to protect their domestic market. Pretty standard procedure. International business 101. There's a guy in Washington right now that promised to utilize a similar strategy to protect US business interests.

The EU thing is a little different in that US beef doesn't meet EU standards (through the use of hormones). Rather than taking steps to meet customer requirements, the US is considering retaliation in the form of ridiculous tariffs that would affect motorcycle enthusiasts. That's a bit different IMO.
