What's going on with the mxtrax forum???? I keep getting pop up websites can't go on it anymore as don't want my iPad and iPhone getting any nasty STDs......

Mxtrax used to be a beast! Does anyone know/remember how or why it died?

I remember I picked up an 06 rm 125 off an mxtrax member for £1300 absolute minter in 2010, sold it a year later for about £1450 wish I'd have kept it! Be worth around £2k now!

I still go on it for the Vintage Forum , the pop ups were getting horrendous , I now have it set with a pop up blocker and it's fine .

Used to love the forum meets In the early days was some great turnouts.
Place ended up down the shitter after it was bought out and then the dick click gang was posting in every thread

Visited that forum as regularly as Vital until they sold it and the it all went to shit. Never go there anymore.

I used to be a member on mxtrax forum many years ago and just went to have a look at it for the first time like i said in many years ago and can not believe it has been and gone. Dead. I am from and live in the UK and have joined this forum now as it seems no where has a popular forum for UK members unless you know something i do not..

Basically yeah, certain topics get heated from time to time. If you stick around long enough, you'll soon work out the trigger topics just from the title. All in all, it's a decent crowd on here.

MX Trax was great, but then the mods thought it was all about them and pissed off the core users , Then they split it up into a shit load of sub forums , which killed the traffic, and we all came here .

All they had to do was leave it the hell alone, and it would have been great. It wasnt broken , but they fixed it till it was.

Yeah, i agree. I enjoyed it years ago but stopped riding so stopped going on there and was shocked to find out very recently it’s gone to shit, badly. But on the other hand i am back in the game so that’s one win. Looks like this is now the place.

MX Trax forum used to be a very cool place a few years ago...
As a french MX geek it was a real pleasure to go there almost everyday...
Too bad it doesnt exist anymore...

Dude go for gold on an iPad or iPhone you CANNOT get any real virus! Heaps of fake viruses but all you need to do is clear your search history and hey presto they are gone. I fix phones and tablets for a living see this everyday. Apple is like having sex with a full body condom you’re not gonna catch squot where as using android or windows is like going bareback on a crack whore Wink sorry I have no useful info on the site in query even after 3 years of you asking should have done some researching for you Smile

It used to be a great website, full of helpful people and lots of good content. Some of the mods were dicks (Shiny), but the site started getting swamped with idiot users posting rubbish around the time mpora bought it and they then filled it full of adverts and it was RIP from that moment.
Since I left about 2010 I've only visited the site about 3 times. One of those times was to grab a screenshot of a PM I'm sure came from TP199.

Quite a bit, not Lommel deep but deep enough that the lines can change lap after lap.

First time I rode there was way back in 97, then it was black sand covering the whole track but most of that went over the years.

Was there for the firsttime ever a few weeks ago, nice facility, didnt ride as i had a race this weekend, nothing like i expected , they added some loose topsoil, but its not even close to being sandy again.

Where has it all gone, Chippenham used to be like Lommel in the 80's, and i always thought Mildenhall was sand.. trying to get a race in at Lyng this year

Last rode Mildenhall about 3 months ago, not been for many years before that as only just got back into riding again.
Seemed a good updated track and enjoyed the reverse layout. I will never forget the near brick wall steep take off on the main big tabletop there from years ago when you used to ride around the old clockwise way.

I used to visit there and soon caught on that it was dead, some of the tracks on there don't even exist anymore.
