Haven't been to Unadilla in years like back in 2010! But I'm going this year!!! Last time I was there I noticed places to watch the race being closed off for special ticket holders - like right outside Gravity Cavity... So does anyone know how and which tickets are the best to buy these days?

Thanx in advance!!! I'll be routing for the 722!!!

Anyone recommend a good hotel somewhat near the track to stay at for the weekend?

Unless you want to shack up with a dairy cow, you are out of luck. Hotels are in Utica, an hour or so away. You can go Motel 6 or splurge on a Super 8.

I would check out the Hampton Inn Oneonta, NY. It's about 35-40 mins from the track but you won't hit much traffic. I live in the area so if Oneonta won't work for you just let me know and I'll help you find a hotel.

I stayed at Tall Pines last year off of Route 8 and Deer Haven a few years ago. Not sure where my buddy has book this year but we are camping somewhere.

If anyone need to, I have 5 acres of FREE camping (it's a hayfield behind my house that's just been cut) 90 minutes from the track. I'm leaving here at 5am saturday to get there in time to grill breakfast, watch practice, grill lunch, watch motos, grill dinner, then head home after the exit traffic jam has cleared.

Binghamton is about 90 minutes south, pretty straight shot up to Unadilla and there are a few things to do there on a Friday night.

Most of the teams stay in Utica. On Saturday morning it's about a 45-minute drive.

Plus there's Delmonico's Steakhouse for dinner on Friday night.

Got cha covered. Haven't been to Unadilla since MXDN in '87 but when we were there we also stayed in Utica.
