Last year there was a 17 RMZ450 for sale locally. Spring fork conversion, Ti Yosh exhaust, other tasty tidbits, perfect condition, 3.3 hours on it. $4500. It got snatched up right away.
In 2012 I bought a well equipped 09 rmz 450 for $1800.
Currently the best deal I can find on a 17 crf450 was 4750 at world of wheels in PA. It's was the owners. (I think he said +50). Mainly stock aside from wheels and e start. I ended up with another though due to a deal with my wife. Had a budget and told her I wouldn't buy any aftermarket parts, so I bought one with all those aftermarket parts already on it.. lol
Oh, then you see the guys with 40 or more hours posting their 17s for 7 grand.. doesn't make sense when you can buy a new 17 for 6400, 18s for 6800. 19s for 8300. even the low hour ones aint worth that unless it got kit suspension. Lol
I’m gonna be selling my 16 KX450F with Kayaba spring forks soon. It’s currently at 48 hours and in excellent condition. Gonna try and get $4500 out of it. We’ll see.
I sold a '11 rmz450 on here with full PC A kit for mid 3k's. Zero interest in it, and right before I parted it, a nice member came with cash. Good deals can be found... but bikes are tough sells for sure.

I had my 16 KX listed with stock suspension, for 3600 $ with a full exhaust, with the option to buy a set of a kit spring forks with it for an extra 1500. Bike had 50 hours. I didnt get a single offer that was reasonable, everyone was offereing 3k. I finally told somebody to come take it for 3200 without the pipe, and they bailed. Worked out for me because the dealer ended up giving me 4200 on trade for it box stock with the OE suspension. They have it listed at 5199 and I cant believe anybody would buy it when a new 18 is 5899.... I sure do hope they sell it because i'd like to trade my 19 in on a 20 if they're giving trade deals like that.

If it gets that bad I’ll just part it out. It has a full FMF 4.1 RCT with Megabomb, Pro Circuit link, Tokyo Mods map, some Works Connection stuff, Boyesen water pump, etc. it’s pretty trick.

Trade it in stock I did that as well 4200 with 100 hours on it. I then sold all the aftermarket parts on ebay.

you guys are getting some good prices on Trade in,I was just trying to trade my kids 17 ktm 250 sxf in and the trading prices were insulting for a bike that needs absolutely nothing. Just decided to keep it.
Just bought the new bike outright,I will leave the other one sit and rot before giving it away.
It seems that $3000 is the magic number for almost any used bike or quad. I know a bunch of folks with frame up MX builds on sport quads that cost $12k to build and they cant sell them for $5K. End up parting them out, selling the bike stock for $3k and making $3k in the parts. Always keep your stock parts or keep your bike stock unless money is no object to you.
Oh and what I find weird is that the 450's are always cheaper than the 250's!

Well the problem is I am planning on selling it around May, but don’t plan on buying a new bike until probably summer 2020 where I will buy a leftover after the 2021 models are out. I’m getting my YZ250 back together after sitting for a year and a half to ride in the mean time.
The Shop
This seems like a good deal too
