I'm not saying the developers shouldn't really bother, but it has a loooong way to go before it has me reaching for my wallet.

Are they seriously marketing it as a finished product? Or is it still in alpha stage?

"New".

Didn't the beta version of this game come out 3 years ago already? It still looks like it's in beta stage.

Man, I was all excited when I saw the topic title.

It's been new for the last 5 threads he made. Unfortunately I don't think Piboso has the ability to focus in on one project so it'll be another 3 years before this is out of Beta.

Like most independent projects. Probably hard to get funding and find time. That's why I never get excited over independent games. Appreciate the effort but hard to complete, I'm sure.

MX Simulator was developed by a sole proprietor, Josh Vanderhoof. There is no team of developers working on the game. Its just one guy with a passion for motocross. The game came out roughly 10 years ago and gets updated on the regular for free. 42$ well spent, 10 years ago. Literally 4$ a year. The game was free before multiplayer became available. I've never played any other game more than MX Simulator.

I wasn't referring to MX simulator. I was referring to this game and LCQ's game. SIM has stood the test of time I think. I bought SIM back when Josh sold it on disc. It's not my preference but it is quality.

Any chance video game stuff could be outside of the moto forum?

Well, it is a motocross game so technically it is moto related. Didn't Vital use to have a gaming section? Maybe bring that back?

Edit: The same could be said for the guy that keeps posting about his Alta. There's a section for electric bikes.

Personally, I'm glad gaming stuff is in the moto forum. Gets more traffic here. And games DO expose our sport more so why not. And you can see that a large group of the Vital community are into the MX games.

I do think it would be nice not to have a new MX Bikes thread constantly. Just add any new info to an existing thread unless it is something super news worthy and new. Just my opinion, though.

Simple enough to just skip over topics if they don't interest you.
