Am I the only it annoys the crap out of when these guys can't give an interview without using the word "we" a dozen times? Is it the new fad like tucking there ears in there hat like a douchebag? WE rode good tonight, WE had a good week on the bike, WE need to keep our head down etc. I never noticed anyone saying it before Dungey, I guess WE can thank him for that and "super pumped".
It's a team sport between the rider, mechanic, manager, trainer, etc. With the other things you listed, it sounds like you get bothered easily.
The Shop
When talking about the race WE didn't do anything the rider did.
Saying that, the girls in here would be straight on the backs of anyone who said " yeah, I did really well tonight etc "
Be funny to see some rider to be like that tho, can you imagine.... I think Weston would make that work.
I hate it too.
This is an individual sport like Golf, nobody else is out there with the rider training, practicing or breaking bones.
The team is doing their job to support the rider.
but it's not always the rider who knows how to set up the bike that the rider can have great results.
Just an example folks, there's more to it. How about picking out the proper tire set? So many things!
If the suspension is off just a bit the rider goes from hero to zero. Then who's fault is it? So yes, "we"
is the proper term.

seriously though gramps...new fad like tucking in the ears? you think that's new?

Actually, it doesn’t bother me at all. It’s a nice way to acknowledge the team.
I get they're trying to give proper credit to the team, but it gets to a point where sometimes they don't make sense. And I know, kind of petty.
Anderson: Jason rode well tonight! Jason's Dunlops hooked up off the gate and Jason was able to get the lead early.
Jason can't thank his Rockstar Energy Husqervarna team.
There are several phrases and verbal ticks the majority of these guys have that are just frustrating to listen to. It's so bad that I almost instantly become a fan of a guy that talks like a normal person when being interviewed.
