Only $10 for all 2024 SX, MX, and SMX series (regularly $30).
But I like the aer more than the 4cs.
Cant really say anything on the cone valves. Never tried them.

The air fork worked a whole lot better than the -15 (which I had re-valved).
At first it felt a bit awkward riding the bike, didn´t feel like a KTM (have been riding 4 stroke KTM 250 since -06).
But later in the evening I got more comfortable and it´s got a bit more bottom then the old ones. For sure one of the best KTM´s so far.
Just need to work a bit on the setup of the shock. Will probably need a softer spring, my sag was 45 mm static and 110mm race sag. Will probably do some more riding first though.
Today is the official launch day for the new WP 48mm air fork, know as AER, in America. These are a direct OEM replacement for late model KTM and Husqvarana models. For a cool two grand you can own the latest fork innovation. I am told they are in stock and ready for delivery from any of the authorized WP distributors in the US.

They only had 250 and 350 SXF available to ride, and I spent probably an hour on the 350. I have to say that the new fork is pretty impressive. The track we rode was rough, but there weren't any high speed sections. There were some rather large breaking bumps that provided a good test.
I found the fork to work quite well in the breaking bumps, and I was quite interested to test this fork, so was deliberately slamming into the bumps. The fork did a great job of soaking this up and I didn't find any deflection. The fork also seemed to settle into corners pretty well and we did have some pretty deep ruts. I didn't find the front end trying to jump out of the ruts. In the flat corners the bike was also very predictable and didn't knife or push.
There were a couple of times that I was able to bottom the fork on hard landings. However this was far less harsh than what my current SX 250 does in the same situation.
I rode YZ 250's for years and of course the KYB's on those bikes are considered to be the best. In my humble opinion this new fork felt almost as good, aside from the couple incidents of bottoming out. I don't know how many hours were on the forks and I didn't know where the clickers were at, nor did I get to adjust them. So I don't know if I would have been able to tune the bottoming out of the fork. Until now I have been skeptical about air forks, but would definitely by one of the new Katooms with them.
For reference, I am 40 years old and am a strong B rider but don't ride as hard as I used to.
