Just saw DV's IG story saying Washougal is canceled and another round will be scheduled at Loretta's. This sucks.

Why? WA new Covid cases have been declining steadily since 7/17, and the deaths are only 10-14 per day in a state of 7.6 million. That's statistically 0. They just held a qualifier not long ago. If it's to GOV stopping it, then time for some civil disobedience and hold it anyways. Tired of the nonsense hysteria around this bad virus as opposed to anyone taking a logical look at the data and making sound decisions.

Maybe it was the teams that nixed the idea of going all the way to Washougal in favor of keeping all the races east of the Mississippi (except Colorado and Pala for obvious reasons)...

Anyone who says it’s cause of the rioting are fucking clueless. The rioters have done absolutely ZERO damage outside of a little 5-6 block radius in downtown. Portland is a pretty huge area. Washougal isn’t even on the same side of the fucking river as Portland. Riots got nothing to do with this one boys.

You correct on all that Craig , except one thing. They are still attacking the N and NE police precincts. But I have no clue as to why they would cancel the race? The spots of rioting / violence bullshit is no where near any where a person would want to go to for the race. I do know of something bad that happened up there a couple weeks ago , and I'm hoping that isn't the reason why they cancelled the race. That's all I'll say on the matter.
