as a side note, what is the fascination with pouring money into rebuilding old beaters when KTM, Husky, and other Euro brands offer modern two strokes? people just love to tinker I guess

As a guy who is currently building a KX 125, I think it is just the fun and pride of the build. Anyone can buy a bike, only a few have the patience and skill to build one.
Plus it is still half the price to buy and rebuild one from the ground up.

Well , I own both. Nothing wrong with finding an older bike with low hours. And I can also say first hand , that these newer bikes aint got much on my 06' RM 250. I love my new Husky , but gawd dang I love the hell out of my old RM....she's a blast to ride.
