What bike to buy?

What up Vitalmx I need some help on deciding on what bike to get I will be riding mostly gavel/sand pits, hillclimbs, hitting jumps, popping wheelies, a little of racing and bush riding I've owned a few 4x4 quads and dirt bikes before but time to upgrade I was thinking of a 250f, 125 or a 250 2t

1998 kx250 with blacked out plastic and monster graphics

Make sure that silencer doesn't have packing either, makes it faster

Haha the kx250 is intriguing, but I want something a bit more up to date.

CR500. There's is no substitute.

I would have given advice , accept my experince of blasting around gravel pits and popping wheelies is a bit limited.

Hillclimbs and gravel pits, definately a suzuki lt500 quadzilla. Wont find a more stable rig that is as forgiving as the quadzilla

The OP said 'hillclimb'.... At that point, it makes zero difference how big or little he is. CR500, extended swingarm, built engine jetted for alcohol and, about a 60 tooth sprocket is the only correct answer. The less plastic and graphics you go in the woods with, the less you have to tote out at the end of the day. Oh yeah, the biggest IRC M5B you can find for the back. Some people think the front tire doesn't matter. It depends on how steep the grade is and, how good you are at riding back down... I know a guy with this setup that has ridden over mountains nobody's been across since they've been there.

Rice o Broni, think of the hills you could roll with this rig. You could throw up some major wheelies too. Think of the slack-jawed looks of utter amazement flashing across your bros' faces as you throw back a wheel stand and proceed to climb a tree - or the nearest mountain. Gravel pits? Creeks? Rivers? No worries, Broheim. You will clear them all.

Even better, you can pimp this thing with your lady on back. Imagine showing up at Ruth's Chris on this bad boy with your girl hanging onto your waist.



OK, now that I have blown your mind with my bro wisdom, I will attempt to answer your question from my deep well of experience. Sounds to me like you're over the quad thing and really want an actual dirt bike. For you, since you've never had one (judging by your original post), I would definitely get a used YZ125. The fun factor is out of this world. They are pretty much bullet proof and they are easy to work on. Hope that helps.
