He looked and did quite a bit better then I expected of him. He has done quite well, and I think is in a good building position.

Completely agree. You'd have to be mental not to be thrilled for the guy right now. He looked great.

Kenny impressed me. I thought he wouldn't be able to charge the whole main. Man he proved me wrong. He looked better as the race went on.

Damn near a perfect way to end the night for him. Healthy and in the top 5. He can build on that. I sense a Dungey approach to this season.

I was amazed. He didn’t holeshot and fade to 4th. He started around 10th and climbed to 4th.

Just a great start to the season for Ken!

Answer??? Tonight! Ill confess I have never been much of a fan but damn, how could you not be? After what he has done nothing but respect for the guy. If you looked up the word perseverance in the dictionary there would be a picture of him there instead.

If he had a better start, probably would have ended up on the podium. He looked better with every lap.

Excited to see how he progresses after a couple races.

Agree. He didn’t get a great start. But man he had the speed and endurance. Really just an amazing ride!!!

Exceeded my expectations, for sure! I really don't think you can cite a better example over mind over matter. All odds against him, still has the will and vision of being on the top.

Compare his return after a year off to Stewart's, who didn't even suffer an injury. Grinning Sorry...

I am with you OC Smile

I thought it was pretty Ironic during the Supercross.com Live practice they had the interview with Tomac about Ken just before the second qualifying session with Tomac saying he would be surprised to see Ken right back up the pointy end straight away, then Ken pips him for fastest qualifyer.

What Ken was able to do tonight was just unreal on so many levels.

Qualifying fastest shows he still has all his outright pace, its not like he was a consistent fastest qualifyer before the crash anyway.

He looked a little off early in both races, had a guy whip a bike in his face, then nearly a big crash in the main and still walks away with a 4th, that could have easily been a podium with a good start.

Lets hope it just keeps on going Smile

He looked better than I was expecting. It was impressive. He was bloody close to taking a digger in the main though.

He finished about where I thought. Really it's fifth if Tomac stays on. Kenny is still a danger to himself as he starts to get confident. If he takes a hit on his bad side I think he will not be able to shake it off.

Way more impressive to come through the pack than fade back. He did well and I’m really pleased for the guy, that’s a solid base to work from. He had me worried with that one mistake just after he passed Martin and Seely, lucky to stay on, but he regrouped and kept going forward. Very good night for him. He proved a lot, to everyone & himself, just needs a start and there’s no reason why he can’t win.

I didn't think Ken looked good compared to himself in the past and he still got 4th. Could be dangerous for the comp if he keeps on two wheels and gets more comfartable which he will. Great first race back all things considered.

But he didn't, did he? A fourth is a fourth.

indeed. You could really tell he got more comfortable with every lap completed. He looked like he was riding very safe, so it surprised me to see him almost crash tbh. Hopefully those mistakes while jumping doesnt continue. Worries me a little bit. But hell a 4th is awesome cant wait for next week.

Exactly. If my aunt had a d... she’d be my uncle. Tomac did what Tomac does, which is crash for no apparent reason and melt down. KR earned every bit of the finish he got.
