Well? Heard one is significantly less worn.

Can’t wait for the “why is Dunlop giving Kenny the better tires?! They want the German to win!” Comments. 😂

The focus on the photo of Eli's bike doesn't help but yeah, obviously much more worn.

Roczen also is known for running a gear or two higher and really lugging the motor in lower RPMs which I'm sure helps a lot with tire wear

Were these taken after a main event?

Typical Dunlops with cracked/broken knobbies.

Can you guys imagine installing a tire and having the knobbies crack and/or break off after 25 minutes of riding? I know these guys use race spec tires not generally available to the public, but it's happened on nearly every production dunlop i've owned, and i got tired of it so i stopped using them.

Did ET start the race with a slightly worn tyre ? Sometimes too much traction is a negative

Good point.
But i doubt it, in the start you need the highest amount of grip, so i think the tyre was brand new.

Anyway they have 2-3 type of tyre specs on the front and 4 on the rear.
Super cool. Would like to try one of those tyres... bet i'd throw down a couple secs easily.

Ken had those two flat turns nailed. He must of been a flat tracker in another life.

They did mention in the pit bits that the gates are getting filled with more dirt then normal because they haven't been moved around as much since they are at the same stadium.

Edit: https://www.vitalmx.com/features/Vital-MX-Pit-Bits-Salt-Lake-City-3,6983 about 3/4 down the page. I'm not sure if the gate was in a different spot the last two races or not.

It shouldn't come as a huge surprise but it is definitely cool to see!

Roczen's style is to take advantage of the lower RPMs and be as smooth as possible and Tomac's style is much more aggressive and he just hammers through shit with less finesse.
