With a some preparation, and some time. Who do you think is the oldest ex-pro or any one that could qualify for Sx , MX?

I’d like to think Stew could get it done on natural talent alone & RC also

One lap qualifying speed? Probably a decent number of ex-pros.

30+2x2 endurance? Probably very few

I get that. but I have seen a lot of ex-pro's over the years, they don't really get much slower, they just don't go fast for long..

They only got to hit a few good laps and you are in the show.

Little luck? I bet, there are much older guys that can burn a few fast laps and with a little luck still be able to make it

You don’t have to do 30+2x2 to qualify......

James is 33 years old. Chad Reed is 37 years old. There's literally no possible way on earth the answer to his question could be James Stewart.

Anyways, I'd have to agree with Mike Brown probably being the oldest who could still possibly qualify.

He has seen his dad struggle with his weight and health. Add his wife’s issues and I think it scared him. He was getting pretty chubby a few years ago, he looks great right now !!

Jeremy does look fit.
What kind of shape is Wardy in? I wonder how he’d do.

The Legends race at Ironman a couple years ago was somewhat ...........not what I expected. I really thought the speed would be higher. Carmichael looked like he was running a decent pace but I don’t think it was a “qualifying” pace.

It seems that the entire field these days is running at a badass blistering speed. Even the guys getting lapped are pretty damned incredible.

I know, my point was that there's probably a lot of ex-pros who could qualify for the show based only on one lap qualifying speed.

Wardy is in great “cycling” shape, but he has as much of a chance as Johnny O’ , who is also getting back into cycling shape after a knee replacement.

Since you are in So Cal, I assume you’ve seen a lot of these vets ride and race. Have you seen Mike Brown live? If so, how fast is he?

Mike Brown is a stud. I haven’t seen him ride out here much, but he’s still “got it“ for sure !!
