Who will JGR have next year?

7/12/2019 9:14pm
As far as 250s go, I’m guessing they’ll try to get Amart again there, but who else? I doubt they’ll keep Peters, Lopes, or Jimmy D. As far as 450s go, if Weston can ride with one eye, I’m guessing he’d be back, but that leaves one 450 spot open. I’ve heard rumors of maybe Savatgy or Davalos. What are your thoughts?

There’s 110 million in powerball in aus next Thursday maybe jbone should play Smile ..... if I win I’ll shout the team two riders and some cash.... I couldn’t imagine any AMA event with no Suzuki on the line was sad enough to see a team less in MXGP the more teams the better and who doesn’t love a good underdog story.

JS17 will not be at JGR. He can’t go two races without hurting something. Been like that his whole career.

Reed for SX 450
A-Mart - 250SX and MX

And I actually think they will keep Decotis or Lopes. Lopes was a rookie last year and will obviously improve going in to next year, but Decotis ran pretty good this year and I know he’s not expensive. Everyone else on their roster is gone. Not sure who they will get for the 450 class.

Decotis did better on the West Coast with a deeper field.

Do they have any possibilities from the Suzuki amateur team for the 250's?

Didn't Reed post a hint that he was out at JGR?

Reed is a good choice IMO. He will bring lots of press and fans for his 'farewell tour'.

AMart probably has another year on the contract.

JS17 is not a consistent rider although he could grow into that. He still trains at Ricky's all the time so has the Suzuki 'in'.

I would like to see JGR get a good rider that produces for them.

I don't wanna be rude or anything but last time when they mixed huge sums of money from native americans with Zook it didn't end up good.... Kyle Partridge could speak about it.

What sponsors don’t come and go with big money? When it’s available, TAKE IT.

You're right, turning down a big pile of money is a much smarter option.

Also, I might be wrong here but didn't the last time they mixed native American money with Suzuki end in a 450 championship?

Almost guarantee Peters’ dad is paying JGR for that ride. It happens more often than you think.

How much would something like that cost?

Honestly have no idea. I guess it would change quite a bit from team to team and whether or not the rider is bringing sponsors with. I never heard a dollar amount as far as Kyle goes though, only lots of rumors he had help getting the ride.
