Dungey will hold back because he doesn't want to risk championship and has a sizeable lead.

On the other hand Stewart is just coming back and doesn't want to push it because he doesn't want to get hurt before SX and is not in the championship hunt.

Going to be interesting to see how it plays out if they race this year outdoors.

You need better bait than that....

The answer to your question is the faster guy will win...

I think the last couple rounds will be the most interesting. Because RD will have the championship all wrapped up......Stewart will be in great shape and hauling ass....and "maybe"......RD might show up and spoil both of their plans if he's ready.

Who would win?? I don't know......I think Stewart will be faster than Dungey...but for the whole moto?? RD will make Stewart work for it. And RV.......that's the huge question mark right now.....But he said that " If he thinks he can win.....he'll be at Pala"!

The interesting part is that Dungey, Stewart, or Villo have nothing to gain from winning except bragging rights because they have more to lose than gain I would think. Gonna be fun.

Dungey is faster than many people think. It seems like everyone is picking one to dominate the other but I think they are both going to win races and titles from here
on out. I'm a Dungey fan but i hope they have some great battles over the next few
years. I'm an RV fan also and it would be amazing if he came back and rode up front
but with an injury that bad it would be hard to do right away.

If it is true that all they have from winning is bragging rights,

I would say the order would go Bubba, RV, then The Dunge just on the amount of bragging each like to do.

Coincidently, I think that's how things will end up at Pala...

I would go back to what jeff emig said at either millville or washougal about the kind of confidence boost winning would give any of these riders for years to come that could determine who is gonna win but I'm pretty sure dungey is gonna try his hardest because in an interview he said something along the lines of he wants to be the one to dethrone stewart

My belief is that AC92 is gonna dethrone Stewart. In 6 years Adam will be 20, Stewart will be 30. Or maybe I`m just plain wrong.

And you know this because you have talked it over with both of them right? I love it when people post like they actually know what every rider is thinking. Tongue

Seriously, anyone who thinks RD can hang/battle with JS7 is in denial. Perhaps you forgot everything about JS7 over the course of his absense.

JS7 is going to make RD look like Andrew Short. A solid guy who gets into 2nd place... No where near the leader.

Anyone who doubts what i just said will be in for a rude awakening after Unadilla.

I think.....It's going to be good no matter who wins. IMO, the winner will be us, the fans. I hope Dungey wins, but will be OK with JS taking it also.

Okay, I've gotta ask...

Which Pro?

I know you'll be hesitant to name names, but come on. Really? Didn't have anything for him in practice, huh? Which pro uttered these profound words?

I hope it's Ryan Dungey or Andrew Short. Because the rest of the pros aren't even near to the front of the 450 class.

I don't like to be a dick in general, and especially with people I've never met, but put it out there. Which pro thinks he's gonna beat James next weekend?

Dungey rides 110% every race no matter if he has a 2 point lead or a 200.

How does everyone forget that Stewart went 24-0 versus that entire field of the same guys except Dungey? I'm not saying Dungey is the same as anyone else out there during that 2008 season, he's better, but c'mon. Stewart has done something that only RC has done. I think Strewart might be really fast.

Grant might beat them both in the first moto!
