Will Kawasaki step up the mini?

With the release of the yz65 will Kawasaki now go to the drawing board on the kx65? My son has a kx65. While it’s a good bike, I can definitely see the disadvantages compared to ktm, husqvarna, and cobra. I would like him to stay on green but seeing the new blue is very tempting. I was hoping it would have been priced a little lower but I guess it is good compared to others.
