Well it has turned toward winter here in NC while it's not cold yet it's heading that way and I don't think my schedule is open to riding for the next 3-4 weeks. By then I'm sure it will be cold.
So my question is about gas. I currently have 110/93 premix in the tank, above half a tank. It's been in there a few about 2 months if I could go riding and burn it out I would I'm not concerned about the octane being low. Is it a safer bet to drain out the race gas and fill it up with regular gas and stabilizer? I know the alcohol in race gas attracts moisture more. The bike is stored inside a well insulated and regularly heated garage.

Just curious. Not being an ass but could you defined cold? I'm just asking because you plan on putting your bike away for a while and I know that some Canadians head there for the winter to ride. Some go further south to SC, GA, FL/AL.

Also, that's where JGR is located and I'm pretty sure they continue to train/test there during the Supercross season or atleast during East coast.

I never had the chance to go ride South during the winter months up here so I have no idea what kind of temperature or weather NC gets say vs. SC.

Thanks.

So how often does it snow down there? Aren't you pretty close to the shore?

I agree some guys will ride way colder than it gets here. But I'm just not interested. It tends to stay mid 40s and it may snow once or twice. But we do get down below freezing more than that. It was down to 29 one night this week.
Yeah about an hour from the coast.
I'm definantly a fair weather rider.

I wold drain it, mxa says you can run it but I would just drain it out and run it in the mower. It could have attracted moisture, lost octane, and in my case it wouldn't have the race gas and oil mix.
Be sure to get it out of the carb too
