YZ Color Change?

Am I seeing things or are Yamahas getting progressively darker each year ?

I thought my wifes 2020 yz 125 had slightly darker plastics than my 2018 but without having exactly the same photo of each bike its hard to tell. Obviously mine has faded so they definitley look different now but I don't remember mine being that dark when I bought it

It seems they are getting darker literally and figuratively. Not trying to read into things too much but sometimes you have to. Dark = Electric = Government = I'm losing my riding areas/tracks. I'd rather see a yz300 2T instead of a Duracell with a seat. I agree the blue plastic is being changed on us.

They start off dark blue then fade....just like jeans do....yours is well washed...

Acid washed. If you're old enough to remember those......... Personally, the OG white, or Yellow YZ's are my favorites.

I liked my white YZ’s best, but the 96-97 production (Factory bike 95) was the best shade ever used.
Going back to that would be amazing...

For most of us 50+ old farts, we are kinda partial to the old school yellow and black OW look. New bikes do look good though.

I like the white or yellow from years back. Seems like my mode 80s YZ was white with red trim, been to May years to remember.

I maybe mistaken but recall first year Mo Mo shocks were grey/silver color but I’ve slept since then.

I like the new grey color for 2020. I’ve never liked the blue.

One thing about the late model YZ's, if you don't like the color its pretty easy to change. Plastic and graphics doesnt cost all that much. Back when you could see the tank it was a little harder to change colors.
