Just finished watching the MEC and come one here to see what everyone thought of it and the Vital hive mind is just overwhelmingly negative.
I thought it was a super fun and exciting event. The superminis were a total thrill to watch, the All stars class was exciting as well seeing the future of the sport and seeing Marvin clinch a million fucking dollars... Come on!
I get that the MXoN should be the bigger event and the scheduling of the race could be better but we have to face the facts. This race is here, these dudes are risking it for our entertainment and someone finally gets a paycheck they deserve in this sport.
Lighten up.

"Lighten Up, Francis!"
And...you are correct.
The Shop
I'm disappointed that it was a let down... we're all fans of the sport and I guess we need to accept that sometimes tracks produce poor racing.
Good on Marv though, made the most of that opportunity for the million. If it was Tomac going into the last Moto after winning the first 2 I guarantee he blows the start or tips over somewhere..
Don't know what it was exactly but I changed the channel after 20 minutes. Found it very boring. Don't know if it was the event, or format, or commentating, or what. But I just wasn't into it at all.
Pit Row
However, for me at least, the real problem is the talent drought at the moment. That's not something that can be fixed overnight. It's not just that Kenny's out atm either. Did anyone else find themselves wishing that RV would drop the mic and suit up? How many in our Vitard nation actually believed the sport would be less boring with Dungey gone? I realize that there can be great racing without big name racers, but with so many missing for whatever reason including retirement it's bound have an impact .
Just my two cents.
Congrats to MM 25!
