That's a messed up lookin emoji! Was that created in special ed class? Jk.
Is it the steel frames or the riders who happen to be on them?

The best outdoor riders in the world have won every race this year.
What? That's incorrect. Tomac, Webb, the Martin's, he'll a lot of guys that are better ride aluminum.....

Lol so KTM/Husky buys every title they get? Nothing better about steel frames? Herlings, Carolli, Predo only ride steel frames because they can make more money? They actually prefer street bike frames?

Seriously guys stop the chest thumping about jap bikes. Going to be a cold day in hell before Honda/Kaw/Suz/Yam funds a mini sx challenge hahahaha.

The little 4 are no longer trying to grow the sport. Apparently robots can't weld up steel frames either.

Tomac, Webb, and the Martins sure didn’t look faster than Herlings in Indiana last summer.

id love to see what the actual comparative weight list on the bikes of factory riders ... vs everyone circle jerking over the show room weights ... Steel frame or aluminum frame , people so caught up in this technology forget its like working out 70% eat 30% routine , This is 70% rider 30% bike . Aluminum or steel frame . It does not really make a a difference to the best .

So you think if Cairoli, Herlings, Prado and Jonass were all on aluminum frames they wouldn't be winning races? If you have the best riders you're going to get results no matter the bike. Also is this not the first year in awhile that there isn't a Honda 150 series? Seems like that cold day in hell has already come and gone. What about the Blu Cru race at MXdN? You probably ignore that, too, eh?

You're no better than the people you accuse of thumping their chests over Japanese bikes.

ummmm given the OP and other comments in here isnt it the KTM/Husky boys chest thumping??? ...please...

The 3 riders you mention are some of the faster GP riders as proven in the last few years....so of course they have a much better chance of winning no matter what bike they are on

Yep the Honda 150 series came and went. Just like the bike. Epic fail. What is Honda doing to fix it? Oh yeah nothing. That will help grow the sport lol. Thanks honda.

Never heard of the Blu Cru MXdN race. Please provide link to the coverage. Thanks. At least Yamaha is making a current 65cc bike. Unfortunately is has a steel frame so it can't be that good apparently.

No shit Herlings would destroy the american field on a 2004 aluminum frame bike. That was never in question.

When aluminum frame bikes are the lightest in the class I will get off the soap box. They are cheap and easy to stamp out and that is the only reason the little 4 are doing it.

Nice attempt at trolling my man. Do a little research for yourself, there is a highlight video of the all YZ125 class at the MXdN this year, they also had the class at the SMX cup the year before.

Also who brought up anything about Herlings destroying the American field? I hope someone who rides MX year round can beat guys who ride it 3 months out of the year.

But Dungey wasn't supposed to win another race much less a title on the pumpkin if memory serves. Career suicide. RC as well when he went to Suzuki. It's over 'they' said. Now, if the bleed orange guys want to hand it back, they're chest thumpin' fan boys. Funny how people want to dish it up but, it's different if it gets handed back to them.

Maybe the steel frame is more forgiving in a long race. Less vibration and better edge grip due to higher frame flex. Its possible the riders are less fatigued at the later stages of the race.

Or maybe KTM just hires better riders

Yamaha's robot doesn't do so well with aluminum either...
