another spoke with my wallet thread!

It said 2017 tc 250! This is my first ever vehicle bought brand new. Always been a 2 stroke dude and still have my 06 yz250. Rode it at cahuilla saturday and am really liking it. Forks felt a bit harsh but with some tuning with air pressure and rebound i think it will be fine. I also ordered a v force reed and pc pipe and silencer. That should be here soon.

Congrats to you !! It's the only 250 that feels like a 125 regarding weight imo. Good looking ride. Z28 spotted....nice.

Great buy and great bike. We just updated our 2017 TC250 this weekend and it is getting better every ride. We've done a bundle of small mods with exhaust, V-Force4 reed block, jetting, power valve adjustment and the air box, can't complain. Here is the latest with that we did up with my company logos for your viewing pleasures

Still have some work to do on the suspension but it has been getting better as well

that thing looks great! love the pipe. what weight, ability, and type of riding do you do? I went with a base suspension set up that MXA did on a tc 250 test, rear shock felt awesome but the forks need tuning. I think I had the psi set at 147, seems like I need to bring it down a bit.

Can you be more specific on your jetting specs, airbox mods and PV settings?
I'm in Central FL with the same bike
JD kit (32.5 PJ/Blue #3/440 main)
Red PV at 1 turn in
Right side of airbox cut
Vforce - FMF factory fatty -Powercore 2.1 Ti.... but that Scalvini looks very tempting now,,,,,

Is that the Acerbis or Polisport neon plastic kit?

It is a great bike, no doubt

If you end up having issues with the forks, Slipdog is not only an excellent suspension tuner, but a previous owner of an TC250 2017. He did change some of the internals and was VERY pleased afterwards. He's also a jetting guru.

I have a 250 with a 300 kit,and for MX is much better, in my opinion, if you want in the future, put the kit in your bike and see.

I run my psi at 150. The rebound is waaaay off stock, I think I slowed it down about 10 clicks. Forks are good once set up. If you run pressure too soft they will actually feel harsh.

Sorry for the delays as work and home have been kicking my butt!
Current jetting: Mikuni TMX38 (stock carb) with 43-74 needle, 40 (IJ), 430 (MJ), Clip #3 (set for 1001-2500ft)
PV: Yellow (stock spring) with 1.5 turn in
Acerbis neon kit
V-Force 4 reed block
Scalvini cone pipe with full length (MX) carbon silencer - Bought the longer silencer that we could cut down if needed to make a shorty for more bottom but this combo has been great compared to the stock setup. More power throughout, slightly on bottom but massive in mid and a bit better on top with longer rev.
Airbox mods: See pics below as we have cut the right side and drilled out both top sides of airbox. Have not felt the need to drill out holes in the side panels but did plan to early on...

rollin64caddy: (I did not get the PM, you can email me at quiknic@aol.com)
Suspension is setup for my son Jeremy (148lbs) B/Int level and mainly MX tracks
Forks: Comp (13) - Reb (17) Air 141 (LACR) & 144 (Milestone)
Shock: Comp (15 low speed) - Comp (2 high speed) - Reb (15-16) - Sag (98-102mm)

mattyhamz2: Let me know when you are going to LACR or any track nearby as we try to alternate to all tracks within a 2-3 hour drive - Also doing all of the ARX Retrocross races with our 80's and 90's evolution bikes

That's what an MX bike is supposed to look like!

Enjoy it, dude!
