Hey guys what would you do?

i rode a 2018 yz 250 f at a demo day and loved it. i understand that the 2019 should be a lot like the 18 450 f.

Is the 18 450 so much better than the 2017 450? should the 2019 250 f be so much better than the current bike?

Buy an 18, ride for a while, sell it next year, buy a 19! Or buy the 18 and wait until 2020 to make sure the bugs are worked out of the 19

I'd buy a new 17 on a run out deal...no changes between 17 and 18 model except graphics and rim colour...saw them side by side on a showroom floor and I thought the 17 looked nicer....
Wish I'd waited for the 18 450 though instead of buying the 17 ....electric start is a game changer when you tip over or stall during a race on those big 450's

Listen Bro, there is no guarantee on tomorrow, let alone 2019.

Anyone have any idea what rim color will be in 2019? Will be time to buy a pw50 by the time the 19's are out. Hoping they go back to black!

I bought an 18. E-start is nice but I'm not the biggest fan of it so that wasn't a big deal to me. I don't regret my decision at all. Been a tried and true proven bike. Also a great looking bike and personally I'm a fan of the blue wheels.

The only thing I feel I'm really missing out on with my 2018 is that the '19 will have is the smartphone tuning app. That would be awesome to have. Other than that I am in love with my 2018 yz250f. I may upgrade to the updated model but it won't be for 2019. Will be the '20 or '21 model year.

If you don't care for the blue wheels you can also look for a left over '17 that you can get a steal on.
