Kevin windham is my choice
He didn't win the most, But skill doesnt always transfer to race wins.

I remember Travis saying Kdub was the most skilled guy he s ever rode with.
The transfer jumps before the night shows at SX were mind blowing.

My dad uses these points when talking about why he believes JMB is the GOAT on 2 wheels.

His performance at the MXDN a couple years back for Puerto Rico was impressive as hell. Off the couch, 60lbs overweight and still qualified for the main event! KW is a stud.

Most skilled rider ever, TONI BOU, and then a gap to the next guy.
What he does on two wheels is simply incredible. I know this is a MX / SX Forum and i watch all of it but can you imagine what he would be like in extreme enduro. OH MY. I bet those boys hope he stays in trials for as long as possible.

The precise awareness and placement of the rear tire position on the edge of the obstacles is very impressive, among many other things.

Impossible to narrow it down to one IMO. All the top, top guys probably have similar experiences.

RC, Everts,MC, and Cairoli are the only modern era guys you can fairly compare between generations IMO because their stats are crazy.

Herlings, Villopoto, JS7, Reed in SX, and TP199 stand out for being very naturally talented IMO.
