i know this has been bought up before but not sure if it was a specific thread???
when you look at it seriously
the sport is fcked if they do..
both sides of the pond, down under, the us roof etc etc
and history says they will at some point.
if you look at whats been booted from all/most advertising already:, tobacco, alcohol, caffine has to be next..
so, anyone got the next step?
wheres all those marketing gurus that were springing up in some recent threads?
id hate to see mx die down further and further.

Lowes (Jimmie Johnson) and 5 Hour Energy (Martin Truex) are just a couple of the sponsors that went away this year. With the loss of 5 Hour Energy, Truex's team will be closing down.
We're lucky that the energy drink companies love MX/SX the way that they do. Will life go on (albeit at a different level) if they go away? Yes.
All those would probably run into issues with sponsorship so we would be forced to find other strong industries to sign up.
All the real money seems to be in areas that cater to the aging baby boomers.
