KTM has always(at least the last 10 years) updated the 2 strokes at the same time as the 4 strokes so i expect new 2019 2 strokes. The SX and TC 250 could stay the same since the current model got delayed to 2017.

Well that’s the shits. I was getting ready to sell my 17 250 to buy a Factory Husky 250.

Gotta wait for the 2019 regular models.
ML, hearing any news whether the 2 strokes will be new for 2019 models (like the TC125 was with the 4 strokes in 2016?).

Obviously what i'm talking about would be pointless if we could wait a few months for the new model 2 strokes anyway. But hearing that it may just be a 4 stroke updates for 2019, 2 strokes in 2020?

The teams are currently running the new frame/motor with the old shape Tank/Seat/Subframe/Plastics, so makes me think the mount points for all these are interchangeable if you committed to upgrading them all to the new ones.
I'm a fan of KTM, I've had 3 since 2013. The way they have designed the plastics on both the current and last generation rear section is some kind of wizard shit. Yeah it works, but it really seems over thought.

From that picture is seems like it has been simplified with not so many different pieces. We'll see!

That picture does not look like the new chassis because the exhaust mount is in the old location. The shock does not look like the new one either.

I'm curious to see if they come out with an all new motor for the 19 250. If so I would think the 350 will probably get those updates since they are almost identical motors. I have a 350 now and plan for another one in 19 if it's all new.

I´m so excited to see the updates on the new FE, and i don´t even ride moto Laughing I will probably have to wait until 2020 when the EXC-range get the same updates.

I don´t think we will se anything other than a AER-fork due to weight.

They updated the 4 strokes in 16 and the 2 strokes in 17

ML's original post in this thread was about Factory Editions will be coming as 450s only for 2018 (2018.5).

Cody, the 125s were updated in 2016 with the 4 strokes, with the 250 2 strokes being updated in 17, exactly as Motofinne said???
