"Star dust" doesn't come cheap, I'll be hitting this show up. Great piece there,

Always got into Bourdain's shows, he not only goes to the place where there's great food he gets into the culture so folks appreciate what their eating.

I'm guessing it's due to that particular knife being on the show. It looks like his knives are typically in the $6,000+ range though, and you have to win a lottery to even get a chance to commission one. http://kramerknives.com/
