Anyone have good suggestions for sunglasses?

I usually wear Spy Micro scoops, just broke my pair of 2 years the other day and need something else.

I do like the Spy brand name, as I had pretty good luck with their durability, but I didn't see anything in their current line up that I really liked...not a big fan of Oakleys, but am open to others.

Looking to spend somewhere in the $60-100 max range...does anyone have suggestions on what to look at and where?

Thanks

Look on Craigslist. They have some killer deals on sunglasses locally.

If you're looking for durability, maybe you should re-think your dislike of Oakley.

My first pair lasted over ten years (I still keep them around for spares,) and my new ones have been serving me well for over five years, so far...

The frames are guaranteed for life, but odds are you'll never need to replace them.

Really? Maybe they have gotten better, the couple pairs I had (about 10 years ago, roughly) got scratched up real easily...my main beef on why i don't like 'em...

Just go to a sunglass place and try them on in that price range. Get UV protection.

I'm sure SoCal has a bit more selection than the places near me, I never find any that I like (anywhere near my price range) at the shops around here...

Im All about Oakley. I've dropped, stepped, and lost 6 pairs of gas cans (3 polarized) and they are a great set of shades. The only reason I buy new ones is when I misplace or severely scratch the lenses.

Plenty of people made fun of me for wearing oakleyd at work, now I'm seeing more and more guys wearing the shades.

One word of warning- the polarized shades can make LCD screens dissappear in some lighting situations.

My single vision prescription Oakley sunglass' are the cleanest and sharpest lenses I've ever had.

Whether Oakley or other quality brand, glasses are you get what you pay for.

Cheap glasses have cheap lenses and yield poor, glaring, cloudy vision

HOWEVER, I did buy a pair of progressive (bi-focal) lens regular glasses from Oakley and I am very unhappy. They scratch incredibly easy and and not as clear as the regular plutonite lenses

Go to the Oakley site then. And as said, Fox are Oakley. Some Ray Bans and Persol are in that range still. It is amazing what they get for sun glasses now. I wear a brand named Kaenon and they are great. Not cheap though. If you knew what the mark up was on glasses you would crap. Get UV protection.

Ray Ban. I had a fling with Oakleys, but got tired of the cheapness of the frames.

I still have my 20 year old Wayfarers, and a newer wire framed MIB-style pair. Best lenses, and they last.

My glasses last for ever. Had some Wayfarers that I gave to my son a few years ago. I got them in the late 70's. I had to wear my glasses to see since I was a kid so I learned to take care of them. I was blind until Lasix. You just have to be careful with Oakley lensesa as they scratch.

My perscription Ray-Ban's are great, hard to scratch, hard to break. I am really hard on glass's, I break a lot of them and these seem great.

I've lost track of how many Oakley frames I've broken. And not "drop'em and step on them" kind of broken. They just break. Still keep buying them though because I like the styles. Next up is a pair of Nicky Hayden Oaks.

Recently one of my friends purchased a cool pair of sunglasses. I was extremely inspired by those shades, regardless of whether it is there quality, look, price everything was great. There are many fashion sunglasses retail stores which provides sunglasses at very affordable rates with best quality. You can buy cheap sunglasses online as online shops offer authentic designer sunglasses at a price you'll surely love.

I've had Spy and Oakley. My wife just got me some polarized Oakley's for my bday and holy cow they are awesome. You can see through glare and they are crystal clear. I love 'em.

I never thought I would buy Oakley's, but just got a pair of Flak 2.0 transitional prescription. I really like how they fit. I can even fit them under my googles if I wanted them for offroad.

I have transitional lenses for my prescription glasses. Don't look that cool but work okay and I can see.
