I don't know anything about them, other than they are a 4-cylinder 500. That add says the aluminum frame was only offered in Japan, but it was restricted to reduce horsepower. Supposedly this guy bought the parts to have the unrestricted aluminum frame version. I wish they took a picture with the faring off.

A co-worker of mine just bought one with half the clicks for $5K CAD. a 1985 model RZ. Looks absolutely identical other than stickers, down to the weld points on the frame.

I think he made out pretty good after looking at that price tag! Yowza!
