Yeah it's no surprise really, FIFA has been known to be corrupt for years now they just didn't have any real hard evidence to back up the claim. Looks like the FBI found something though, I haven't been following it but caught it on the TV a few times in work today.

Sooo glad these guys will get their comeuppance. Jack Warner in particular has this coming. The only thing that puzzles me is why they face extradition to the States. Perhaps the U.S. wants a big pay-off, like the German "justice" system got with Bernie Ecclestone's corruption case. £80 million, if I remember correctly!

Apparently they used U.S. Banks for some transactions and there were also offices located in the U.S.

I don't think the corruption is the shock it's the prosecution, and by the U.S. at that.
