So last night at Xmas eve dinner with family we were talking about the first couple months with the puppy. (Nephew also has an Ausi). I was telling him about how she was like a little snapping shark bitting us all the time with those sharp little needle teeth. Not agressive but just over zelous play. Anyone ever raise a puppy and you know.
Phone in the pocket the whole time.
So this morning I can't open sites without advertisements for dog bite lawyers.
Any examples from you guys and gals?

We get in the truck after not finding any we like, and she opens Facebook to an add for barstools staring back at her.
EDIT: I found one: Settings>Privacy>Location Services>System Services>Location Based Apple Ads
also
System Services>Signicifcant Locations has a list of everywhere you’ve visited.
It says it’s encrypted and can’t be read by Apple but who the fuck really knows. lol
It's happened on quite a few other occasions, things like this, but there is no way in hell this could be anything else.
About a month ago I got a notification
"Google assistant has successfully installed"
I'm like WTF? How do I get that shit back off?
Can't find out where it resides or how to remove it.
To be fair this has been happening before that though.
The Shop
How did this even become a thing. We pay a monthly fee to carry a device that spies on us 24/7

Amazon echo is a gold mine. Gold mine. Always listening.
I don't think so!
Just like Apple would never purposefully slow down your old phone so you buy a new one.
I really like getting the Home Depot alert as I'm walking into Lowe's or vice versa. Saves me a trip sometimes comparing pricing!
Never had a smart phone. Had to get a phone through my new job last year. They told me they don't care what I get, apple or android. I told em flip's only, got a weird look back from them but they said fine.
The only disadvantage is I got to go out in the field fairly often, so I just have to print off a mapquest for directions before I leave. It just makes sure you got your ducks in a row first cuz there's no downloading something or checking email til you get back to the office. No big deal though.
Pit Row
My mom received one of those amazon/google talk box things for christmas, she was excited for it, I want absolutely nothing to do with any of that crap, literally inviting whoever to listen whenever they want... Although, I suspect my phone is already doing that.
Last night I was on my phone looking something up, and immediately in my gfs feed on whatever website she was on, there was an advertisement for that exact thing... It almost ruined our Christmas surprises that way.
Do not like this stuff, I really don't care if the government knows what I'm up to as I have nothing to hide, but I hate how absolutely everything is linked up. It was hard just to get the tablet that is on my phone plan to work as it's own independent device with none of my personal info on it... Just wanted something to watch videos on or whatever.
It's okay, the Google/Alphabet CEO quit his job to head the Pentagon's Defense Advisory Board (he's also Bilderberger, Trilateral Commission). The Pentagon board also includes Bezos, who obviously owns the Post and Amazon.
I for one welcome our new overlords. They are going to figure out what is fake news and tell us what is reality.

Waiting at the next intersection, the video reader board played display ads for Preparation H, a local body shop, and a gun sale at a local sporting goods store.
Freaky...........
