Searched high and low and called 12 dealers. After many laughing at me for looking for this particular bike, and then trying to sell me a 2017 model I finally found a new 2016 Yamaha XSR900 in the 60th anniversary livery. Quick 12 hour round trip drive I made it home! I've owned several bikes such as a GSXR600 and CBR600RR. But I have to say this bike is so much more comfortable to ride for more than an hour. Needless to say I can't wait to put some miles on her!

Hey Boston please tell us that taillight assembly is the first thing to go.

Looks like a nice wheelie machine. Cool

I have a hard time keeping up with their product designations... is that like an FZ-9 without a half fairing?

Me like!
In 1974 I painted my 350 Yamaha with the same scheme.

Nice bike! Woohoo

Congratulations, I'm riding mine right now just because it needs to be ridden, during these Arizona Summers it gets hot and she tends to get lonely sitting in the garage.
