That is a great tune! What's so amazing about Ozzy is , even after 50 years , he can carry a tune the way he does. His voice sounds the same as it did when I was a kid 35 years ago. Crazy

I have to admit, not being a huge fan all these years but I gotta hand it to Ozzy. The music is good and he sounds great. Nobody, but nobody, has a voice like that. 70 fuckin years old. That's awesome.

Closest location to me is in Cincinnati, OH on my birthday. I told my wife we were going, ROAD TRIIP!! I was pretty happy for about two seconds. Her response? “Um...that falls on our trip to Mackinaw Island, the room is already booked...remember?” Damn!!

Saw Ozzy, Randy, Rudy, and Tommy deliver a phenomenal show in March 1982. Second row seats, about 15' away from Mr. Rhoads. Ozzy wore my German WWII helmet for two songs!

36 hours later Randy was dead. Hands down my most shocking rock & roll death. His live performances were unparalleled.

There is some sweet ass trails (tomohawk mc trails I think) near Wolverine MI not too far from there. Single track through the woods, dirt bikes only. If shell let you go out and ride I highly recommend them for a birthday vacation ride. Smile

I love Ozzy but damn it's tough to listen to his music anymore. I think Black Rain was the album that really made me think "ok everything now is just ProTools and heavy studio effects with run of the mill melody and riffs, etc". I'll always go back to Diary of a Madman, Blizzard of Ozz, Ozzmosis, No More Tears albums.

Also - I'm a huge Zakk Wylde fan but I'm glad Ozzy at least isn't using him again. Zakk's playing has pretty much been the same riffs and solos for the last 20 years. I LOVE his band Black Label Society which has tons of great songs but as a guitar player when you dig into it, it's mostly the same riffs and solos.
