Going out on a limb here, but I think this guy doesn't like Post Malone.

A lot of his criticisms are valid but at the same time this article comes off as way over the top. I don't mind some of Post Malone's music, but I understand why a lot of people dislike it. I'm of college age and he's popular with my friends, and I mean for the most part it's just decent party music (which is where I've primarily heard it). I am always interested to read critiques, but there's no need to be so hostile in tone.

Nothing better than an article on why people shouldn't like shit that a lot of people like when liking the person has literally zero impact on the lives of those who don't like the things so many other people like.

Post Malone’s music is dead-eyed and ignorant, astonishingly dull in its materialism, an abandoned lot of creativity with absolutely no evidence of traffic in his cerebral cortex — and there’s also a negative side.

There's a lot of music out there that I don't like, but he is selling the shit out of his. Good for him.

He's also Pro 2A, that probably draws a lot of undeserved hatred from a good portion of "journalists" out there.

Just listened to a few of his songs after reading this thread.

I can't see what the fuss is about other than he's the latest great white hope in rap music.

Generic trap beats with uninspired mumble rap lyrics over top. After four songs that sounded almost identical to one another I was done.
