Colored Goggle Lenses

The summer "canopy" in the woods tends to reduce light quite a bit where we ride.
I've had good luck with yellow lenses enhancing my vision some. Maybe its just in my head though.
When I first put the goggles on, the yellow is pretty visible, however, that quickly goes way and appears clear.
Anyone tried using yellow lenses in the woods during the summer? or other colors?

I only started using tinted lenses recently. They are black mirror from the outside. I cannot imagine riding without them on a sunny day now.

I really like the amber color lenses in my Dragon NFX2s' for mixed sunny/woods.

I used to run yellow lens while racing at night, then got used to them in the day time. I run the EKS brand goggle now with mirror tint in the woods and have zero problems. That being said, I just put in new yellow lenses in my current rotation of goggles.

Yellow is the best color to use when you are planning to ride till dark, coz it gives you better view than any other color in the dark or when the sun is not on its peak. However, i prefer the google lenses without the color, gives me a pretty detailed view of the terrain im actually riding. Still, one's preference is what matters.

Not sure if they still make them but Scott had a Lens that was clear when you're in the woods and turn blue out in the sun in the grass track sections

I use the blue lense. I asked one of the goggle reps and he recommended the blue for trail riding. Granted I have never tried the other colors but since I only wear contacts while riding I found that the blue lense dissipates the sun light while in the open on bright open dirt as well as being able to see when in the canopy of trees or brush on the same trail.

Rose or pink is better. Hard to beat clear for riding with shadows. I have 5 different coloured goggles and clear get the most use by far.

I don't know of any that still make them, but I ran the transition lenses until I couldn't find them anymore. Scott and Smith used to make them. Clear in the trees, and a greyish blue in the sun.

I like my amber stuff in the trees if it's a sunny day.
