Worthy of a RECALL ?

If you shift up on the gear lever, the RPMs will drop and the bike will run cooler

Most four strokes for that, I wouldn't worry about it.

Is that riding or idling on the kickstand that caused that?

My 4T MX bikes will do this idling on the kick stand, never had an issue once moving.

Never seen a 4T air cooled bike i've owned do this however

I've never taken a close look at my header while riding. My XR650R, CRF450R, DR350, DR250, TL1000s, and XB12 will all do that at idle.

It's normal to see At night but not during the daylight that bike is way too lean

damn man thats crazy, my 18 klx 250 doesnt even come close to getting this hot hahaha.
