This old bike followed me home recently. Not sure what I’m gonna do with it but I just couldn’t resist.
Appears to be all original other than new grips, air filter, and the front number plate is missing. Seat appears to have been recovered at some point but I’m not sure.
Any vintage guys out there have any ideas for what I should do with the bike?

What's a good place for a nice quality replacement front number plate?
I'm hoping to spin a few laps at our local track this weekend if the weather holds up.
The Shop
Apparently this owner was much smarter than me and just wheeled it in the old shed and popped for a yellow ride....
Amazingly, the 76-78 Honda 125's are not all that common/found these days. I have a 76 which I plan to replica my bike from the past. Just cause, even though there has been considerable effort, time and funds spent, I really am not much smarter today!
Good luck with the bike. Looks like you found a real survivor there.
When that bike was released in 1976 originally, it was already a year behind. That's why the starting lines turned yellow.
It was hopelessly outclassed by the YZ & RM's of the same years. Time has not made them any slower.
All that being said, they are beautiful bikes when restored to original and parts aren't hard to come by.

This model is very pipey, the forks are junk, the shocks barely hold up the seat, the swingarm is heavy and flexy. I would take this lightly used bike and make a garage queen.
I think for a collector you have a great starting point.
