Greetings! I'm starting my Honda CR500 restoration. I've got a bike with a clear vin, however, no title. The goal is to restore and sell. What have you found as the best way to get a title in this situation? I feel there will be more value in having a title. Unless someone has a titled frame?
Im also looking for some good clean parts 1984 Honda CR500. Any recommendations of items that need to be changed in order to make it more user-friendly without getting too far off track? 100% stock or?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

I’m doing an 84 250 myself.
I got a new seat foam, seat cover and. 2 Sets of brand new never used vmx-maier side panels available for a good price if you want them. Got them thinking I was gonna use them. But I’m not.
I made the decision to send off my side panels to plastic renovations. No matter the cost. As I want keep the plastic as close to stock.
The Shop
I was lucky to get a decent set on my 84 parts bike, so I figured I will send them off to the magician at plastic renovations. I payed a good bit of coin for nos rad shrouds. Figured might as well go all out and do it proper.
Up to you. If you are looking to resell.
And yes the color is perfect.. my one complaint with this stuff is it’s too glossy. Compared to oem.
And no I have no info on the 500 motor, I know the 250 like the back of my hand.. this is the fifth one I’m doing.
All I know is it may need head work to get rid of pinging.. kinda like the yz 490.
Send me a Pm.
Set of fork, 3 sets of linkage, 2 rear shocks, front master cylinder in nice shape, but it’s off an 85.
2 sets of triple clamps.
