I pulled the front end off of my 2016 Yamaha YZ450F and put it on my 2001 Kawasaki KX500 on Saturday - what a difference!
The stock forks were sprung for my weight, but the YZ450 forks and brakes were night and day better. I LOVE what it did to the bike!
It was easy too; the YZ forks slipped right into the stock KX500 triple clamps.
After the minor surgery
I am considering parting out the rest of the YZ450F and holding onto this setup for my KX500!
