1983 Kawasaki kx80
condition: excellent
engine displacement (CC): 80
fuel: gas
paint color: green
title status: clean
transmission: manual
This is a great example of a classic near vintage motocross race bike with a reputation of state of the art innovation and technology that even now will compete with modern motorcycles in its class. Fun fast stock bike.
New tires, cables, grips, chain, chain guide, fluids, air filter, 2 stage paint, polished front forks, and more. Runs good and starts on the 1st kick. Have new clutch friction discs, brake shoes, and fork seals as spare parts that go with it.
The water cooled motor still runs very strong and is said to produce between 15-19hp. The transmission is manual shift and has 6 gears. The bike was used very little while I've owned it and still looks pretty good. Note that the original seat cover is beginning to crack due to age.
Overall this near 35 year old bike is in great shape, looks good and runs like greased lightning. Must see to appriciate.
Please call @ 661-803-2808 for more information. If the ad is up it's still for sale.

Thanks guys! I’d figure it’s not gonna be an easy find, but they sure were popular in 83. Lots of dealers sold out of them, and my understanding was Kawasaki had sold all they produced by April of that year. I remember a bunch of 15-16 year olds jumped on them after already switching to 125’s, simply because they were so damn fast and big for their time. Was fun watching big kids flip them around like bicycles at Ponca and Lorettas that year
