So I found something most people would have scrolled right past on Facebook Marketplace today. 1990 KX80 chassis with an XR100 motor in it. The bike is roached but the original work was flawless. Every bit of the conversion work looks near factory. It's a "Cartright's conversion" bike out of Texas and I knew a little bit of history on them as I had picked up CR80 conversion from them about 10 years ago. I'm going to bring this bike back to life for a pitbike and this plastic is apparently pretty hard to come by state side, any of you overseas guys able to help a brother out?

I'm looking for ya bub! I've found up to 87, then we skip to 92. I'm gonna call a buddy of mine tomorrow afternoon, hopefully something will turn up. That little scoot looks like a blast!

Ok, go to cmsnl.com, they have plastics that are oem Kawasaki. Pricey, but it's original and new, hopefully they'll have what you need on hand. Good luck!

Only piece it's letting me add to the cart is the right side panel in blue. I would be fine with the blue or green if I could buy ether as a pair. I'll keep digging.

Could the tank Clean up? Usually pretty thick stuff can still sand/compound out. As for the front fender, I think they used the same one from 85-92, or at least damn close. Same for the front number plate..... check dc plastics, the have up to 87 in stock, possibly use some of it on your project. Hope this helps.....

Yeah I plan on restoring the tank if possible, Front fender and front # plate shouldn't be too big of a deal as I'm even considering putting a newer set of USD Forks on it.

bikeboneyard.com has an 88 he's parting out. Looks like he has everything you would need, however there are no pics. See if he can't get ya some, maybe with any luck you'll find what you need.

I've also found a whole bike locally, waiting on pics. It doesn't have to be new but I'd like to have "nice"

My paper with part #s says I have both R&L side panels part #s 36002-5427 and 36002-5428.I believe these are the blue in color sidepanels. These are still in the factory packaging.Your bike will be a real head turner.Regards Anthony

I need them, I stripped the spray paint off these today and they are actually in pretty stinking good condition but I want to make it perfect.
