I had three bikes competing there very stressful and many thanks to Stevie Denton for their trick bits on the bikes and the loan of an 8 mm t bar in a hurry in the holding box

I had a absolute blast but... My shock blew out in practice and we tried to get it repaired with no luck!

If you were there you surely know that that was NOT a track to be racing with a "pogo stick" on...! It bottomed everywhere and beat me to death, but I was able to find a safe pace to get all my motos in :-)

Thanks for the pictures!

Sorry for the intrusion on this thread but unfortunately someone I know was very badly injured in a crash at the event and I thought I'd put this up here.

There is a crowdfunding page that has been setup to help support him and his young family during what is a horrible time for them all.

If anyone feels like donating and sharing this further with the international MX community, then it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks Smile

Bitchen, I love the bike and it looks like you had a killer time! I must make it to this event before its too late. Do they have the rules, qualifications and costs to do this race posted anywhere or is it invite only?

The event website has all the info Nic. Go to Registration / Regulations on the left hand side. Some of the specifics might change for future events, but you’ll get a good idea of what’s required to enter.

Any more info / pictures on / of this bike?

I'm thinking it might be the reverse cylinder 4t I saved some pictures of from a previous VMXDN - but could be very wrong on that.

Was Badger Goss's Trico there? I think he made one, sold it, then made himself another. From what I read, it was a bit of a controversial bike - some 'purists' that said there were none ever made / used in the time period (whichever one they picked / chose to be purist about) got their knickers in a twist over it.

Talked to Todd and his mechanic... said the bike was a absolute blast then proceeded to rip the holeshot (First time all weekend) and win the race and overall!

Hi

Did not see the Trico there this year.
Here's a link to a TMX article on Luke Hills machine.
