I've had a few discontinued Suzuki parts that I've needed, and I contacted Paul Miller Motorcycle on Ebay and in a week or two they had found me what I needed.

Send them a note with the part number and ask if they can locate one for you.

Very hard to find tranny parts for this bike, I think some parts may interchange with the 87... Have you tried eBay international? Maybe someone in Euro land has something.... When I restored my 88 a few years ago, I looked for over a year for a few nos gears to pop up.....they never did....had to run what I had....I was able to buy All the nos plastic directly from Suzuki ....good luck, keep looking, somebody, somewhere has what you need....searching is half the fun!

MxVet261 - No Luck with them

Sandman768 - I don't know about the searching being half the fun as I would rather spend my time on building and riding in place scouring the internet. Been searching for over a year and finally found the #2 by luck a couple of weeks back

Pete24 - I have sent them a message, hoping for a miracle as I want to start getting the motor put back together

There are a couple dealers that show some inventory of the part numbers that your number supersedes to - 25231-14311 supersedes to 25231-14312 which then supersedes to 25231-14x00 which is discontinued also. If your local dealer has lightspeed they can check all dealers that use the system quickly. Of course that doesn't mean their inventory is correct Smile Try M&S cycles in Chambersburg PA 717-263-1018 for number 25231-14312 - it says they have 2.

Thanks BRT771 you are a rockstar as I have been searching for more than a year and have had a few dealers search for other dealers that may have NOS. They were supposedly using the Lightspeed database. M&S Cycles gave me a sweet deal on buying both pieces as they had them sitting for many years. Thanks again!

Glad it worked out for you and good luck with the build. I wonder if because the number superseded twice and that was not the original or final part number perhaps it was often overlooked.
