http://unadillamx.com/events/

I have a feeling that the promoters at Unadilla are going to adopt AHRMA's new 'next gen' class rules instead of having there own 'support' classes like they have in the past.... just speculation since AHRMA just announced the new classes. Keep an eye on both of those websites and read the new class listings that AHRMA is offering starting this year. AHRMA was founded on pre-74' bikes, and they have slowly evolved to this.

What kind of bikes are you planning on bringing?

Not bringing anything, Have a KX500 lined up.

Just want to see how easy it is to get an entry, and what bike time i am likely to get

It is a great event, very low key and the track is amazing, as long as it does not rain! Plan to spend all three days there. Email or call Jill Robinson for more info, her info is on the Unadilla website.

Thanks for the heads up on the contact , thats just what i was after .

I heard its great , and the offer of the chance to do it was too good to pass up, although it isnt 100% done, our race calendar here doesnt clash, which it did last year. so plans can be made, to a point. We have a race in Germany the week before, and will fly directly after that .

If you can make it, DO IT!!! Such a great track, and a very laid back event. You won't be disappointed. Bring a kit and some money and as long as you have a bike lined up you'll have a hard time wiping the smile off your face.

So looks like this is all on, gonna get flights booked ASAP, and hopefully hook up a couple of classes to make it worth the trip , bike time wise.

Entries are done, 3 classes for me. , and 2 for the boy. . Only downside is i have a race in Germany the day before we fly out, so need to keep it on the island that weekend for sure.

Anyone else in ?

Uggh. I'm out. It's the same weekend as my daughter's high school graduation.
You will have to give a full report on your trip!

I am in 90-99 500 C , Open C and 50+ I would have entered B, but the guy who i am loaning the bike from is in C and figure he knows whats what. The KX500 i am riding looks sweet, not raced a 500 since 1987, and never raced a Kawasaki either. So what could possibly go wrong.. oh yes , and the race the week before will be on slicks.. LOL

All of a sudden, this isnt too far away. Prep so far hasnt been great, 40 mins MX this year on my 98 Vertemati , and zero gate drops. .. on the plus side i have 5 hours SM in on the TM/CR500 we are running , so not totally out of it.

That’s ok, it’s rained just about every day here for the last 2 months...

I had planned to leave at 8 am to drive 10 hours there to race Sunday. However, it looks like it's going to pour tomorrow so I guess I'm staying home and working on the honey-do list Sad
