Picked this bike up few weeks ago and decided it needed to be brought back to life. I'll keep doing updates as I go

Started stripping old paint off to fix all the dents and repaint

Very very cool man!! Definitely keep the updates coming.... I really want to add a MM5A to my collection some day. Would be a super cool wall hanger for the shop, office or man cave. Something about the uber-micro size of these bikes that just makes them irresistible, IMO!

Way cool! They're really tough little bikes, too. When I was learning to ride on mine, I whiskey throttled into the side of the neighbor's house, and into the back wall of my garage, and that little tank kept on running.

ETA: By the way, where'd you get the bottle of Weed & Ass Killer in the second pic?

At some point I will start looking for a set of forks, but all I really need at this point is a new set of tires.
They have been more than a little difficult to track down. They are great little scooters, I got one for my 3rd birthday and looked for another one for years and years before I found this one. Good luck on the build.

You did a great job matching those so cool. I have been able to pretty much find most of parts except front fender so far. I know someobe who has same Indian and he saud he was able to to find those size tires on Amazon so I'm going to look there also. I'll keep photos posted as I get it togther

Awesome. My mom took me in 73 or 74 to the local Indian dealer to look at those. The dealership was just a detached garage behind the guys house. Those were the grass roots days.
